What’s the first step in ordering invitations?

At Inviting Designs we suggest that you start looking into your wedding stationery approximately 4 to 5 months prior to your wedding date (even earlier if you’re really organised). Aim to send your invitations anywhere between 6 and 8 weeks prior to your wedding date to allow for confirmation of numbers. If you’re inviting guests from overseas you’ll want to send them out no later than 12 weeks prior.

What’s the process?

The process is really easy. Simply email Inviting Designs your enquiry regarding any of the designs in the collection or requesting a custom design. You’ll receive a confirmation email with a client information document. Fill in the document using Microsoft Word and email back to us.  You will then receive your proof/s of all stationery required within 72 hours and the option to make any changes. Once finalized, you’ll email your guest and address list, make payment and receive your stationery in the mail within 5 -10 working days.

What’s included in the cost?

All stationery items include changes to colours, flower images and wording to suit the style of your wedding. The total price includes extras and printed envelopes for your invitations, rsvp cards and thank you cards.

How to get your guests names printed on your invitations & placecards?

To have your guest names printed is an extra cost of $50.  This is a standard flat fee for any amount (whether you’re printing 20 or 200).  It’s a simple process of filling an excel document, which will be sent to you via email.  Your guests names are then mail merged onto your stationery for that special finishing touch. 

Your placecards will also need your guest names printed which we suggest to have done at a later date when you’ve received all your rsvp’s and have confirmation on who will be attending your wedding. 

How to make payment?

All payments are made via direct debit. Bank details will be included on your invoice. Your stationery will only be printed once payment has been made.

Printing of Stationery

All stationery is professionally printed on 300gsm satin stock (unless otherwise stated). Turn-a-round time on printing is usually around 2 – 3 days, maximum is 5 days. Upon completion you will be notified with an estimated delivery date.

Postage

All print jobs are posted Express Post outside the Northern Rivers. Your stationery may be personally delivered if you live in the Northern Rivers area or posted regular post. An additional fee of $10 will be included on your invoice to cover postage and handling for Express Post deliveries, and also for packaging costs when personally delivered.
